Plywood Storage Case for 6" Stones

Works great for my Venev stones. Not so much for my KME stones. If I leave the KME stones in their plastic protectors, the lid won't close. If I remove the plastic protectors, the lid closes, but the stones can flop around so much that the stones bang into one another, risking damage.

Outstanding product helps keep stones clean and organized.

REAL PIECE OF JUNK! THE DAMN HINGES WERE NOT GLUED TO THE WOOD TOP. FELL COMPLETELY OFF! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ZERO QUALITY CONTROL. I HAD TO REPAIR IT MYSELF. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN.

It holds my stones and looks nice.

I have several of these. Two of the older design (which have stringer wood hinges) The boxes are slightly different sizes and I prefer the old-style hinge because it is better engineered and lays flatter w/o putting pressure on the hinge. But overall these are great. I keep different sets of stones in tje different boxes. I like tje air venting cut onto the wood boxes to allow stones to dry. A great storage solution.

I have two of the 12 stone cases, and one 6 and one 9. They are a good value. I couldn't give them five stars because the lids on two of them are warped a little and don't close flat against the magnetic closures.

Boxes cool quality, and have a really good price! Highly recommend this product, and more in this store. Really good assortment of abrasives, sharpening systems and supplies.

The stone storage box arrived safely. I quickly filled it up with all of my 6” stones and it’s very convenient. It’s quite easy to use and the stone slide in and out very easily. The latch consists of a couple of magnets in the leading edge. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Got the box, works perfectly for both KME and Columbian stones. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Horrible quality the whole bottom is warped it won’t even sit flat on a table I contacted them about sending me a new one and still no response hopefully they send me out a replacement

It is a classy little box, well constructed, and perfect for protecting sharpening stones.

Much nicer than I imagined. Air holes, nice design, Gritomatic embossing, magnets perfect resistance. Would have been disappointed had I not picked this up. Stones all in order, all safe.

The 6 stone box was warped on the bottom, but they are sending a replacement. Great customer service.

Fits stones perfectly, but the bottom of the case is warped. Causing the case to wobble. Kind of annoying.

A very nice convenient way to store sharpening stones. I am already kicking myself for not getting the largest one, but I can always buy another for strops.

I received both a 6 and a 12 stone holder. Both were a perfect fit for my TS Prof stones. The 12 stone holder was great, but the 6 stone holder, the bottom was severely warped and wobbles. I would give the 12 stone holder 5 stars, and the 6 stone holder a 3, because the construction is good... I just received a warped one.

The quote the stone storage box is great. Everything about it is awesome. I can't find one thing bad about it. The Stoppy Stuff is awesome as well. It's nice because of its consistency. It is like a paint and doesn't run everywhere. Gritomatic is a 1 stop shop for me when I need sharpening products. Amazon sucks!! If Gritomatic is out of stock I will wait until they get it back In stock.

Works very well at storing my diamond stones, good construction, like having magnets that hold it closed instead of a latch.

The slots are a little too tight, it's hard to insert and remove a particular stone. Not my favorite case.

Good solid well built case

I came close to adapting an old cigar box for my stones, but then I figured, you know, I’ve got a lot of money invested in these stones, might as well give them a good home. So I got the nine stone box, enough for 6 to 8 good stones and a leather strope. They have the little 45° cut, so you can put your stones in there that have the angled tips. I like the magnet closure on the box, but it is pretty cheap wood, snd I don’t like the finish—much too dark. Maybe add a fun bright Gritty logo on the top would be better, but it’s basically fine and pretty well made . Protect your stones!

Well built box. My issue was that I have learned to put a rag in tog if the sharpening stones so they don’t fall out of their respective slots when to box get stood on edge. I put the box into a latcable case along with my fixed angle sharpener. The box is secured but the stones fell out of their slots when I stood the case on edge.

Recieved my stone storage in very quick time and it is of great quality and design GRITOMATIC is an excellent company to deal with .

Cases came as described, (which is nice). Delivery was pretty quick. Everything i have ordered from Gritomatic has been has been of good quality and as advertised!. Especially the Venev stones!

Very good products And great service

Well made and sturdy. All laser cut plywood finished in a brown green stain type material. Perfectly adequate for the 6” stones and prevents them from riding against each other. Spacing is good too - I can read the grit sides from in the box no problems.

I ordered the Venev Orion stone set and they fit perfectly with room for my kangaroo strop, Arkansas Translucent for my carbon steel blades and a few diamond plates from TSProf.

Perfect size for my 6” Edge Pro style stones. Made of lightweight wood not plastic is a huge plus in Florida due to the humidity. Also they are ventilated which is another great feature to reduce retention of moisture. I purchased 2 and may buy a third after I decide on the storage setup I want for different styles, grit/micron size and brand of stones. These boxes are a great value and I highly recommend them.

Staying organized is exceeding important for me especially when it comes to making mistakes. These storage boxes can’t be beat for storage and organization and contributes to fewer mistakes.

I like mine very well they keep all my stones separated. They never let the stones touch each other. They look really nice setting on my sharpening table. I would definitely buy one again. They are well vented for the stones to dry that I use water with I like them I already have five they’re sure a lot better than the plastic ones

These wooden storages boxes are great. They keep your stones safe and organized. I have 3 of these, for two different stone sets and one for my 6" leather strops.

Very light fits all my sharpening stones snug and tight.

It seems very well made. It is light. Holds 12 stones securely. I didn't thank the magnetic latch would work well but it has taken 1 fall off a lower shelf and still held. The only "problem " is you can fill it up fast

Great looking box seems to be constructed well; Issue is that the slots is not wide enough for my 1/2 thick Arkansas Stones. The main reason I bought it. O WELL, I will find another use for it.

Really nice stone storage box! This looks much nicer than their stock photos. The fit and finish of this is extremely nice and it holds the stones very secure. I have several different brands and sizes (thickness) of 6” stones in it and it fit every single one of them. There’s very little wiggle room once they’re in the slots so they’re definitely not going to be banging around in it. I also really like the vents all along the sides so that if your stones are still a little damp when you put them away they’ll dry completely. The magnets on the lid are a very nice touch as well. They keep the lid securely shut. For the money it’s a very good deal, especially considering the cheap plastic ones are close to the same price.

Box was just right. I have another one that I also bought from you folks a couple years ago and I like it also.

Great organization system, no plastic rattling, real plywood, with hinged lid that has magnetic catches. Wood strained that you could spray a clear coat to protect for longer life.

Plywood Storage Case for Edge lenght stones. Glad I choose the wood. Classic look and build. Bought it to house my Boride T2 series 8 stone set. Fits very nicely. It does take a slight bit of effort to grip one to take out. And I have small hands. Not that big of a deal. I recommend this box and will most definitely buy another one when I order another set of stones. Cheers.

I like it!but I like the case very much. The lid is held in place by a magnet, and the wedge of the stone fits into the groove of the case. It fits perfectly. The only downside is that the length of the screws on the hinge is a bit long, so it's a pity that it sticks out a little.

After receiving the Plywood Storage Case for Edge Pro Stones, the 9 Stones were very disappointed as there was not enough 0.5 mm in length for the grinding stones to fit in the cells. I received a product from you that I cannot use - not a single grindstone enters the cell.

Great Storage Solution Fits all my stones for my Hapstone sharpener, even the double sided Venev Centaur stones. I also definitely looks a lot better sitting on my workbench than a plain old plastic box or canvas roll.

case not bad but the big ass gritomatic logo right in the smack middle is not my taste. Would of looked much better in much smaller letters bottom right or so.

The 6 stone plywood case is very nice. Assembling a sharpening kit for the TSPROF Blitz 360 using a Harbor Freight Apache 3800 protective case. These 6 stone plywood cases fit perfectly in the Apache 3800 case; so much so that I'm adding a 3rd plywood case to the storage section of the big case. Wish a photo could be attached because it is very nice size and setup. Got the idea from Youtube Channel "KnifeKrazy" for his Blitz 360 except he is using a plastic food storage container which does not have class. These plywood cases are super sharp and could be polyurethaned to absolute gorgeous. I like them a lot.
