Description

Designed for mounting the standard K03 and Kadet clamps on the turning frame. Positioning the clamps with the adapter on the edges of the frame allows an increase effective length of the frame by 4cm. This extends the clamping options for knives with long blades or with thin and flexible blades. Positioning in the center allows you to replace a single clamp for sharpening the shortest blades.

Each of the adapters is milled from a single piece of aluminum alloy bar. The shape of the adapter follows the shape of the frame and blends in with the appearance of the sharpener. The hole for mounting to the clamp has an oval shape, for matching with clamps of any width.

The adapter is suitable for turning frames of K02 (produced in 2018), all versions of K03, and all versions of Kadet.

In my opinion this L-adapter is a necessity. Any blade smaller than 3.5" will be unstable when clamped with the standard setup. The Pro should just come with them to start, honestly.

I would consider this a must have. With this you can place your clams in the center. It greatly increases the versatility you have in placing your clamp. It greatly helps being able to sharpen knives of different sizes and shapes.

Excellent Sharpener The TSProf L-Adapter is a very valuable accessory for the K03 or Kadet system. It allows you to clamp even the smallest blade while keeping it central to the pivot of the guide bar. I highly recommend this adapter.

A These adapters are a perfect solution for when you want to sharpen smaller knives without having to buy the specialized clamp for that purpose. It makes it possible to center both stock clamps together. So you have the centered clamp solution for a much lower price. I live in The Netherlands, Europe and the time between ordering and delivery was ridiculously fast. I have waited 4 days or so. Gritomatic rocks and so does the adapter set.

A little pricey but worth it They really do expand the usefulness of you Kadet and while a little pricey they are cheaper then any of the center holder set ups with the added bonus of being able to hold larger blades as well. Definitely a Plus for Kadet While pretty spendy, this is a real plus for the Kadet as it offers added versatility. Not so much with the K03 as they already have clamps that provide that versatility.
