Hindostan stones are mined in the state of Indiana in the United States. Hindostan is sandstone with estimated grit #3000.

Hindostan is preliminarily lapped and does not require lapping after purchase. Hindostan stones should be used with water or oil as a lubricant.

Hindostan stones may have dark spots and slight natural imperfections.
