The Axicube One Sharpening Angle Finder (Rev 2) is designed for high-precision measurement of angles between planes and the inclination of a surface from the horizontal and vertical levels. MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology with ultra-precise electronic sensors of inclination relative to the gravity vector.

How to use Axicube One

General Information

1 Power button | 2 Reset button | 3 Display | 4 Divider | 5 Micro-USB | A

Axicube will go sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity. Press once to turn it on. To turn it off, hold for 3 sec.

To check the battery charge level and the current mode, press when Axicube is on. 85:P2 - charge level 85%, P2 mode.

To cycle operating modes, press and at the same time.

Do not let the battery level drop to 0% level. The battery level below 10% is critical - the Axicube must be immediately charged. The full charging time is 3-5 hours.

Axicube One Modes

• P1 - Inclinometer Mode for measuring the angle of inclination from horizontal level
• P2 - Universal Mode (Kadet/Blitz mode) dual-purpose: 1) for setting the sharpening angle on Kadet and Blitz systems, and 2) for measuring the sharpening angle on a wide range of sharpening systems
• P3 - K03 Mode for measuring the sharpening angle on sharpening systems with horizontally leveled knife
• P4 - Angle Gauge Mode for setting sharpening angle at the beginning of sharpening session

P1 Inclinometer Mode

00:00 The inclinometer mode is designed to measure the angle of inclination relative to the horizontal level.

🎛️Calibration

• Place Axicube on a flat surface.
• Press and hold for 15 s. The display will start flashing.
• Release . The display will show P1
• Place Axicube against a stationary point, such as a wall.
• Press . The display will show P2
• Turn Axicube 180°. Press ⊙ one more time.

P2 Universal Mode with Kadet and Blitz

0:00 Universal mode is designed for sharpening systems other than TSPROF K03. On Kadet and Blitz series, setting the sharpening angle and measuring the sharpening angle are executed in different ways.

🎚️Setting the sharpening angle

• Make your system ready for a sharpening session. Put the guide rod with a sharpening stone facing down on top of the clamped knife.
• Place the Axicube side A on the stone holder.
• Reset to zero. . #.## → 0:00
• Place the Axicube side A on the angle finder stand.
• Set a desired sharpening angle.

📐Measuring the sharpening angle

• Place the Axicube side A on the angle gauge holder.
• Reset to zero. . #.## → 0:00
• Place the Axicube side A on the abrasive holder.
• Axicube will correctly measure a sharpening angle at any point of the blade.

P2 Universal Mode with non-TSPROF systems

0:00 Universal mode is designed for sharpening systems other than TSPROF K03.

P3 K03 Mode

0:00 K03 mode is designed for K03 family but will work with any sharpening systems with horizontally leveled knife. P3 mode is demanding but rewarding.

📐Measuring the sharpening angle

• Place the Axicube on the zero level. Use the same side of Axicube for leveling and measuring.
• Reset to zero. Press ⊙. #.## → 0:00
• ERR9 occurs in P3 mode when you try to zero reset not in the horizontal level.
• Place the Axicube on the stone holder.
• Axicube will correctly measure a sharpening angle at any point of the blade.

P4 Angle Gauge Mode

000:0 Angle Gauge mode mimics traditional angle cubes. Designed for domestic repair, construction and equipment adjustment.

📐Finding the angle

• Place Axicube side A on the first surface.
• Reset to zero. Press ⊙. ###.# → 000:0
• Place the Axicube side A on the second surface.
• Axicube will correctly measure a sharpening angle at any point of the blade.
