The cabinet has 30 slots for 6" sharpening stones divided three sections. The storage is compatible with 6" mounted or unmounted sharpening stones or strops. The cabinet utilizes multiple ventilation holes.

Keeping the growing collection of 6" stones organized is important. That's where this box of drawers is perfect. I had to reattach the drawer guide to the case, then deburred the runners and waxed them to ensure the drawers ran smoothly. Then, I finished all the surfaces with shellac to make it even nicer.

The box is well thought out and masterfully cut for a precision fit for your stones, keeping them organized and safe. The thoughtfully vented case allows for air to circulate, keep everything from holding on to unwanted moisture. I really like that it can hold sets of stone so if you use diamond and CBN or any mixed collection of stones, there is enough room to keep sets together but separate from each other. After each use, I make it a point to wash my stones to remove any debris or particles that could potentially degrade their quality. I then hand dry them to minimize the risk of water spots or mineral deposits forming, which could affect their surface and smoothing properties.
