I'm only a novice hand sharpening but these lil Venev stones enabled me to get a decent cutting edge relatively quickly. They have a nice feel/feedback.

Great pocket stone, very easy to use and performs great edge on any knife I tried.I wish they have more different griits available. I bought 800+1200 grit.

Great little pocket versions of their resin bonded diamond stones and work just as well. Made a little mini sharpening base/case for these pocket versions as I'm no good sharpening holding the stone in my hand and it's a surprisingly useful setup.
Wish the metal(?) plate the resin is bonded to were a little thinner since this is a pocket stone, but it's only a nitpick. Easy enough to throw in a bag or if you have large pants pockets when you're out and about. Makes sharpening on the go a breeze.

I love the size of this pocket sharpener it's going to be great to bring with me to work. So far I've only used the 800 grit side and the polish it leaves is incredible!

Venev 4" Greater Dog Series Dual Side Pocket Diamond 100 + 240
The Venev 4" Greater Dog Series Dual Side Pocket Diamond 100 + 240 was easy to use. I think it was better than using a steel diamond stone.

The Venev 4" Greater Dog Series Dual Side Pocket Diamond 800 + 1200 seems to work better than the steel diamond stones. Better feedback.

Great stones
The greater dog 800/1200 is the perfect stones for finishing I was using PSA lapping sheets and they worked fine but wanted to get a wider coverage on the blade the 800/1290 works out perfect.

Finally!
Where were these fantastic stones when I was making Custom Knives and sharpening commercially for over 47 year's. Cut very well, no wild deep scratches and so controllable. I just used this stone to re-grind a Benchmade Bugout to arrive at a true infinity edge. A taper all the way to the edge much like a Japanese sword of old. Talk about a slicer! Worth ever cent. Hope the full size become avaliable again!

Great fine grit diamond stone
These diamonds cut through and polish even hard powder steels fast and to an incredibly sharp edge. I was recommended Venev stones by Jake at Canadian Cutting Edge, and finally bought some. They are worth every penny, and maybe should be more expensive than they already are.

Got all three stones in association with the 4 inch stone holder for the Worksharp precision adjust total game changer dog series stones are the finest stones I’ve have ever used

Due to my lack of understanding of the grits, the lower grit are a little Aggressive, but I can work with that. The stones are great and work great with my work sharp sharpener. I highly recommend these stones.

Great stone, just like all Venevs. They are amazing. The negative review on this product is mistaken, as he's trying to go from the F150 (200 grit) to the F400 (1100 grit). That's way too big of a jump. You must use the F240 (400 grit) in between. So, yes the F400 is relatively fine, but that's because it's 1100 grit. It leaves an amazing satin polish finish!

So far not impressed
I have the 6" 1200 / 1500 stone as well as the 4" 80 / 150 stone. I'm by far no expert but i wouldn't say I'm a rookie at sharpening either. The 400 grit seems much much finer of a grit. The 800 is pretty good but the 400 (which is crucial bridge between the 150 and the 800) just seems way to smooth and would hardly remove any material from either of the vicrorinox knifes I've tried sharpening with these stones. Maybe I got a bad 4" 400/800 stone since everyone else is crazy about them but this stone really is a let me down. I cannot recomend this based on the 4 sharpening I've tried doing now with my 2 victorinox knives. The other grit stones I've used are great, but the 400 is like glass.
