How to use

Nakayama Asagi Whetstones should be used with water. All that is required is to wet the stone surface. There is no need to immerse the stone. During the sharpening, slurry is released from the surface. Try to keep slurry on stone surface.

Nakayama Asagi stones may have slight natural imperfections and minor defects not affecting sharpening.

Amakusa stone does not require any preparations.
