Type: Edge Pro Stones
Amakusa Bunsui Whetstones are used for fine sharpening on Hapstone or Edge Pro sharpeners. Binsui is the variety of Amakusa natural stone with estimated grit approximately 1000-1500 JIS. Binsui stones are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks.
Binsui is preliminarily lapped and does not require lapping after purchase. Binsui should be used with water as a lubricant. Soak Binsui in the water for 2 minutes before use. During the sharpening, the slurry is released from the surface. It's not necessary to keep slurry on the stone surface.
Binsui stones may have slight natural imperfections and inclusions.
