Modular Platform is the first key element of Hapstone modular technology shared by Hapstone R2, V8 and M3 sharpeners.

Auto-adjustable universal stone holder with built-in digital angle gauge holder, suitable for sharpening stones up to 6 inches including Edge Pro format. Pivot unit with the linear ball-bearing, full 360° rotation, and parking hook for the guide rod. Linear ball-bearing provides smooth guide rod movement and requires no lubrication or cleaning in heavy-duty usage.

Primary Modules define what is it: R2, V8, or M3. Primary and secondary modules (scissors, chisel) are interchangeable and can be purchased separately.

Clamps and accessories make all kits different. If you are a beginner, start with R2 Standard or R2 Opti. A short learning curve will let you sharpen your knives at first try. Later, you can upgrade your system with extra clamps, fine-tuning adapter, spring-assisted stoppers and many other items.
